Individual Therapy
Individual therapy at the Wuste Tsega Center provides a safe, supportive, and respectful environment in which individuals can bring their inner world, personal life story, and the challenges they are facing. The therapy is culturally adapted and grounded in the individual’s life context, taking into consideration the client’s personal, family, and community background, significant life experiences, past trauma, and the impact of an ever-changing reality.
Treatment is intended to support individuals coping with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, life crises, adjustment difficulties, identity-related questions, and the strengthening of emotional resilience and personal well-being.
Therapy is provided by an experienced and professional team in Hebrew, Amharic, Tigrinya, and English.
Group Therapy
Group therapy at the Wuste Tsega Center creates a unique space for belonging, shared experience, and mutual learning. The group setting allows participants to meet others with similar experiences, reduce feelings of isolation, and strengthen their sense of community as a source of support.
The groups are facilitated by qualified therapists and are culturally adapted with sensitivity to the participants’ values, norms, and social and family dynamics.
Group therapy is designed to support individuals coping with trauma, ongoing stress, parenting challenges, identity-related issues, loss, the strengthening of emotional resilience, and other complex life situations.

Couples Therapy
Couples therapy at the Wuste Tsega Center is designed to help partners strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and cope with challenges and crises within the relationship.
The therapy addresses cultural differences, gender roles, family expectations, and external pressures that may affect the couple’s dynamic.
Through respectful and culturally adapted dialogue, partners learn to listen to one another, identify limiting patterns, strengthen trust, and build a healthier and more stable foundation for their relationship.
Family Therapy
Family is often a central source of strength—but at times also a space where conflict and tension arise. Family therapy at the Wuste Tsega Center helps families better understand their dynamics, strengthen relationships, and develop shared ways of coping. The therapy is adapted to the family’s cultural and community background and addresses intergenerational gaps, adjustment difficulties, disruptive life events, and the impact of social and security-related realities.
The therapy is intended for families with children, adolescents, and adults, with the goal of strengthening both family and individual resilience.

Counseling and Guidance
The Wuste Tsega Center operates a counseling and guidance service that assists individuals and their families in navigating Israel’s mental health, welfare, and educational systems. The service provides information, emotional support, and culturally adapted guidance, with an understanding of the challenges, barriers, and mistrust that have developed over the years. Counseling is available in multiple languages, and during times of emergency the center also operates a multilingual telephone support line. The goal of the service is to make help more accessible, reduce fear and hesitation, and encourage early and supportive engagement with care.
